Remodeled • Move-In Ready Feel Den/Office • Flexible Space Covered Patio • Easy Outdoor Living 2-Car Attached Garage Fireplace • Central Heat/Air

If you want a home that feels fresh, clean, and already “done”, this one stands out. 11979 Luna Road is a single-story with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus a den/office space that’s perfect for remote work, a playroom, gym, or hobby area.

Per the MLS notes, the home has been thoughtfully updated with items like newer flooring finishes, fresh paint, and kitchen upgrades, plus practical comforts like central A/C & heat (with a smart thermostat noted) and a covered patio that extends your living space outside. The front and back yards are professionally landscaped, so you can enjoy it right away without a big to-do list.

📝 Good to Know: This is noted as a probate listing in the MLS. That can sometimes mean a little extra paperwork or a different timeline — I’m happy to walk you through what to expect so you can plan confidently.

💡 Smart Buyer Notes: How to “Win” the Showing + Offer

  • We’ll verify the remodel items noted in the MLS and confirm what’s included (appliances, etc.).
  • We’ll review neighborhood comps so your offer is strong and realistic (without overpaying).
  • We’ll build a clean plan for inspections + timelines, especially if probate terms apply.
  • If you want a fast close, we’ll coordinate lender steps to keep everything smooth.

Buyer to verify all information, including square footage, lot size, permits, and property features. Listing information deemed reliable but not guaranteed; subject to change without notice. Loan programs, rates, and terms are subject to change and buyer qualification—confirm details with a licensed lender. Listing courtesy of the property’s listing broker/agent.

🇨🇺 Local Business Spotlight — Havanazucar Cuban Restaurant (Hesperia)

Havanazucar — The “Wait… this is in Hesperia?!” Cuban Spot Locals Love

If you haven’t been yet, put Havanazucar on your “try it this week” list. It’s one of those places that surprises you — the flavors feel like a mini vacation, and the portions + hospitality have earned them a seriously loyal local following.

Fun personal note: my office was right next door when they first opened (back when I was at the “brokerage that shall remain nameless” 😄), and you could tell immediately they were onto something. The parking lot stayed busy, people kept coming back, and the word-of-mouth just snowballed. If you go, start with a classic Cuban sandwich or one of their house specialties — and don’t be surprised if it turns into your new go-to spot.

If you’ve been waiting for a “front row on Bear Valley” opportunity, this is it. This auto / flex shop sits on one of Hesperia’s busiest corridors with an estimated 52,000+ cars per day, bold signage, and easy in-and-out access. Purpose-built for service work and flex uses, it gives you the rare chance to own your shop instead of renting someone else’s—and still have room to grow.

  • 💨 Piped compressed air with multiple quick-disconnect stations for efficient workflow and faster turnarounds.
  • 🔊 Exterior compressor room keeps noise and heat outside, protects equipment, and frees up interior floor space.
  • Three roll-up bays, office, waiting area, and mezzanine—set up for service, sales support, or light flex use.
  • 3-phase power; approx. 3,048± SF on 0.7± ac with a secure, fenced yard for inventory, fleet, or display.
  • Strong interest from tenants—ideal for an owner-user now, with future landlord upside if you decide to lease later.

Not just an auto shop — imagine:

  • Off-road / powersports HQ for RZRs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and quads with indoor service and outdoor display.
  • Motorcycle or small-engine shop (Harleys, metrics, lawn & garden, generators) leveraging the bays and power.
  • Boat or PWC sales & service hub with secure yard for trailer parking and seasonal storage.
  • BBQ / outdoor kitchen superstore using the shop as a showroom and the yard for grills, smokers, and patio displays.
  • Performance / speed shop, wraps, tint, or detail studio built around visibility, traffic, and easy access.
  • Contractor / fleet HQ (HVAC, plumbing, landscape, delivery) with office, shop, and fenced vehicle yard.

Traffic counts, zoning, and use options subject to buyer verification.

🏛️ Hometown History

Colton Edition

Eighth Street in Colton in the late 1910s with a Pacific Electric streetcar and early downtown storefronts
Image credit: Wikimedia Commons (Public Domain) — Eighth Street, Colton (late 1910s)

That vintage photo isn’t just “old downtown Colton” — you’re looking at the era when a Pacific Electric streetcar (the famous “Red Cars”) ran right down Eighth Street. The Colton Line connected Colton and San Bernardino starting in the early 1900s — basically a pre-freeway commute option that made the city feel surprisingly connected for its time.

But here’s the real “wow” moment: Colton’s rail importance was forged in 1883 during a near Wild West standoff at what we now call Colton Crossing. Rival railroads fought over a track crossing so intensely that Virgil Earp (yes — the O.K. Corral lawman) was hired to guard the rails while crowds gathered with tools and firearms. The tension peaked when California’s Governor Robert Waterman showed up in person, read a court order, and essentially warned, “Nobody draws first.”
